The Highland Games

Annually held on the first Saturday of April, the games bring together the rich heritage of Scottish, Irish, and Welsh cultures in a friendly competition.

Celtic Music and Craft Beer Festival

The annual festival is traditionally held the Saturday before Thanksgiving, and offers a wide variety of Celtic music, dancing, food, crafts, and plenty of craft beer.


We hold and participate in many other Events throughout the year. Our next event is the Tartan Ball on Saturday, January 28, 2017.


Meet the Board

Alan McHale

Alan was born and raised in Scotland, emigrating to America in 2001. He has been with the Foundation for six years, becoming President in 2013.

Iain Donaldson

Director of Scottish Programs
Iain is the City’s Director of Scottish Programs and Piping Director.

Moira Donaldson

Vice President/Secretary
Moira has been with the organization for five years. Moira is a former champion highland dancer who started dancing at the age of three in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

Lindsey Mallon

Executive Director
Lindsey Dubock Mallon is the Instructor for the Isle of Skye Highland Dancers, a competitive Highland Dance School and Performance Group with students age 3 to adult.
