Summer Whisky Tasting

We held a Summer Whisky Tasting at the hall on Saturday, July 15th.  It was an amazing night of whisky, food and music to a sellout crowd of 75 people!

President Alan McHale led us on a trip through three regions of Whiskys… pairings… and more.   We all learned a bit about where the whisky comes from, how it’s made, and listened to some great Celtic music by the band Mac Gilliossa.

MacGilliossa is a terrific Celtic band who has played our 2016 Celtic Music & Craft Beer Festival, and the 2017 Ceilidh in the Park and Dunedin Highland Games!

  • What great musicians! Thank you!

For those that didn’t want Whisky, we offered tickets for Wine or Beer.  All tickets came with appetizers, and pairings for the whiskys.

Here are a few pictures of the event.  We are looking forward to doing this again!
